Vertebral column with pelvis and femoral stumps
Natural cast of a human spine in highest quality with removable pelvis and femoral stumps. The model is mounted on a movable metal spiral tube, which makes the spine stable and at the same time very mobile. The ideal model for those who want to work intensively with the spine for many years. The special flexible intervertebral discs behave like natural intervertebral discs. The spinal nerves and the vertebral artery are also shown. The femoral stumps are movably mounted and can be easily removed.
Without stand.
EXTREMELY MOBILE
Erler Zimmer spinal columns have flexible intervertebral discs that compress on one side and expand on the opposite side when bent, just like in humans. The flexible discs prevent an unnatural gap from forming between the vertebral body and the disc when the spine is bent. All bone parts are cast from a natural spine and show all structures, fissures, foramina and processus anatomically exactly. In addition to this exact reproduction of the individual vertebrae, special emphasis was placed on mobility. By using an unbreakable, movable metal tube, the spine is permanently flexible and it is still as movable as on the first day, even after years of intensive use. Especially in the demonstration of lordosis, kyphosis and scoliosis as well as in manual medicine, this model can show its superiority. Flexible intervertebral discs, emerging spinal nerves and the natural mobility show very well the interaction of intervertebral disc, vertebral body and nerves. The ilio-sacral joint is movable. The pelvis can be removed.
This model is for education, training, patient education and demonstration. Especially suitable for manual therapy.
