Injection & Puncture Training
Injection & Puncture Training
The use of medical simulators in clinical skill training enables the student to gain the core clinical competencies for administrating injections. Trainees will effectively learn the different injection techniques without having to practise on a volunteer or a real patient. They will receive the necessary feedback about their performance and will be able to correct and re-try the procedure until perfection. Galaxymed offers a large variety of clinical skill trainers for intramuscular (IM) injections, subcutaneous (SC) injections, intraosseous injections, intravenous (IV) injections, spinal and epidural injections, for different patient age groups (neonatal, pediatric and adult injection trainers).

This trainer enables intramuscular injection to be practiced, as is typically done when vaccinating. The model can be used as a vaccination trainer, but also as a normal IM injection trainer and as a subcutaneous injection trainer.
Two-in-one-model Injection of Buttock. The student can transfer the anatomy visible on the right side to the left side and can then practice the technique of intramuscular injection there.
