These ostomy care simulators are designed for the training of healthcare professionals.Ostomy care and management to provide care to patients with colostomies, ileostomies and urostomies, including the assessment and management of the peristomal skin. The sudent will learn how to train their patients in ostomy self-care. Medical simulators and trainers are used to train nurses in procedures like dilation, washing, taping, bandaging, and fitting of ostomy bags as well as caring for irrigated skin.
