The Medical Leg Care simulator is designed for medical education and training in the visual assessment and differentiation of a wide range of lower limb pathologies and wound types. This simulator accurately replicates a human leg from the foot to mid-thigh. It supports diagnostic skills in wound care, vascular assessment, dermatology and general medical training.
The life-size model is made of soft plastic and is ideal for dressing exercises, for vacuum wound therapy and for all other care measures.
With the 3B Scientific decubitus trainer, nursing and medical students can learn about professional assessment (examination, measurement and description), wound care and bandaging techniques in various stages of decubitus.
These models illustrate all four wound stages and are used to give instruction on the care and cleaning of the ulcers.
